About the charity
Founded in 2020, Uncle Paul’s Chilli Charity is set in a unique, rural environment. We welcome young people and adults who may have experienced social disadvantages or barriers to learning and/or employment. Using our farmland setting, beneficiaries can learn and develop new skills, as well as gain experience and qualifications needed for successful and sustainable employment. Our key focuses are on education, wellbeing and social prescribing.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide an immersive, safe and wholesome environment where beneficiaries can spend time in a beautiful, natural setting building confidence, skills and experience useful for employment.

We aim to be as inclusive as possible for those we seek to help. Our 40-acre farmland has huge potential to provide much more than we currently offer. We aim to provide more outdoor learning areas and opportunities all whilst keeping sustainability at our core.
Our Approach
Uncle Paul’s Chilli Charity puts mentoring at the heart of the participant experience; with mentors and specialist staff spending time with every individual, gaining insight into their background, outlook, learning styles, strengths and areas of need. This tailored and supportive approach aids the development of individual strategies, enabling participants to take responsibility for their own learning and progression.

As you would expect from the name our charity specialises in growing chillis of all shapes, sizes and origins, and through agriculture and land based studies it can offer a broad range of vocational training to suit the interests and talents of all participants. This includes growing produce, retail experience in at markets, hospitality in the cafe, food production, business administration, customer care, animal husbandry and livestock welfare and breeding.
