Education
Every beneficiary of our charity can learn or improve skills when visiting the farm. We offer the opportunity to understand nature using highly experienced and knowledgeable staff and volunteers. We work with educational organisations to help provide an alternative, natural classroom.
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.”
- Benjamin Franklin
How we help
Forestry skills, fruit and vegetable growing, ground keeping, sustainable farming practices, beekeeping and animal care are just some of the areas in which beneficiaries can be involved. Our 40 acre farm land is diverse, undulating and naturally beautiful. It's an outdoor classroom with a focus on positivity, encouragement and support.
How your educational organisation can get involved:
We welcome all enquiries regarding the use of our farm for educational purposes. We understand that the traditional, academic classroom is not always best suited for every student. We can assist with the progression of learner's Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP). Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
